Grassroots support for students, teachers and schools

The Apple FCU Education Foundation has donated over $1 million in the name of learning since its founding in 2006. Providing grants and scholarships, the Foundation operates from the belief that education drives positive change in the lives of children and the community.

Apple Scholars named for 2011

Twenty-seven high school northern Virginia seniors were named 2011 Apple Scholars at a special breakfast celebration held on May 24, 2011 at the Waterford in Fairfax. See pictures of the event and a listing of their names and high schools here.

Teacher Talent = Student Success

Our support of new teacher induction programs is a big job and an important commitment. A fundamental starting point for new teachers is meaningful professional development from their school leaders. We work closely with four local school divisions to fund a comprehensive approach.
