Our mission is to direct funds to students, teachers and communities who are not only served by Apple Federal Credit Union, but who also are positioned to serve others by contributing their energy and expertise in areas that will have the greatest impact.

Our Board of Directors takes ownership of determining how best to disperse funds in Apple FCU’s Northern Virginia service areas made up of scholarships and grants to support:

Students

Scholarships change lives and inspire students to continue their education beyond high school. We recognize and reward outstanding students with college scholarships.

Teachers

Grants extend opportunities for teachers to develop and expand the classroom experience for children. We support teachers and celebrate their accomplishment with grants that assist them in raising student achievement.

Community

Serving the community in which we live is our top priority. We support schools and other community activities because we believe in the power of community to improve people’s lives.
