Scholarship Awards to Organizations

Scholarships change lives and inspire students to continue their education beyond high school. In addition to our own Apple Scholars scholarship program, we award grants to organizations that provide scholarships to qualified students:

• College Access Fairfax is an organization that helps Fairfax County Public School students realize their dreams for higher education by assisting them and their families during the college application process and by providing resources and support to help them apply for and obtain financial aid.
• George Mason University provides a scholarship to a current student to continue their studies at the George Mason University School of Management.
• Fairfax County Public Schools Retired Educators provides a scholarship to a graduating senior who plans to become a teacher.
• Fairfax County Public Schools School Board awards the Laura Piper scholarship in memory of a Fairfax County graduate who demonstrates outstanding scholarship, leadership and citizenship.
• NVADACA (Northern Virginia Athletic Directors, Administrators and Counselors Association) provides scholarships to high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence and have excelled in VHSL activities.
