Apple Education Foundation supports teachers through grants designed to accelerate achievement for all students.  Teacher grants support teacher projects, assist with staff development and contribute to recognition of exemplary teachers. Grants are funded by contributions from individuals and organizations to the Apple FCU Education Foundation
Here’s a sampling of some of the grant support the foundation has awarded in the past year:

Fairfax Education Association Teacher Grants:
FEA’s Teacher Mini-Grant Program develop creative instructional projects developed by teachers such as using field trips to bring history alive and Family Math Night.

Fairfax County Public Schools:
Support for a wide variety of teacher research and curriculum projects under the school system’s 2007 teacher grant program. FCPS provides grants to both individual and teams of teachers.

Frederick County Public Schools:
Support for the 2008 Frederick County Teacher of the Year Award Program.

Virginia Teacher of the Year
Support for annual recognition for the Virginia Teacher of the Year.
